Shoveling out my driveway - for at least eight hours over two days - gave me a lot of quality, NPR listening time. They weren't "rice is nice" type segments, I swear. Click the links below to hear some of the food stories:

- "Just Food: Where Locavores Get It Wrong And How We Can Truly Eat Responsibly" - Faith Middleton Show, WNPR; don't really agree with McWilliams, but interesting to hear rhetoric that challenges "local"
- New changes to school lunch menus - All Things Considered, NPR News (Definitely a step in the right direction, but more fresh fruit, veg and dairy/meat [if you eat it] are needed in schools - NOW!)
