The Apocalypse is near...Survival Seed Bank style

I heard about this on "The Colbert Report," but thought it was a joke. Take a look Survival Seed Bank's approach to saving people from "a belligerent lower class demanding handouts" and "a rapidly diminishing middle class crippled by police state bureaucracy":

According to the Bank's site, the seeds are not genetically modified and can be saved. And, perhaps most important, in case of confiscation by an unruly mob, the "indestructible Survival Seed Bank can be buried to avoid confiscation!" Leave it to these people to air their commercials during Glenn Beck, you know, because scare tactics are the way to boost your ratings...

Here's a thought: Why don't we just take the first step and grow our own gardens, without the plea of a doomsday ploy. Let's take it down a notch, talk about this rationally, and then we might be more successful at getting individuals to plant organic, heirloom gardens voluntarily instead of out of fear. (Would you plant a "crisis garden"?)
