Dan Barber, chef and co-owner of Blue Hill and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, wrote an incredibly Op-Ed column about late blight for The New York Times this past Sunday.
Late blight is a big deal and one of the worse cases seen in years. Yeah, there's no tomatoes this year. Farmers aren't hiding them, and, in turn aren't making money. It's not more important than ever to support your farmers.
